The ladies of Sunrise Triangle were very busy this past weekend. On Friday, they performed an Earth Day Degree and Spring Degree at their stated meeting. Surprise guests included Dad Bill Sardone, Executive Officer of New York DeMolay. He made Beloved Queen Maggie an Honorary DeMolay! We also had the Matron & Patron, Holly & Marc Lapinel of Nassau Chapter, OES with us for the evening. The members received their own trees to plant and guests were given reusable bags. The next day the girls attended the Order of the Eastern Star 15th Annual Walk-a-thon to benefit the AMT Children of Hope Baby Safe Haven. And on Sunday, the girls attended the First Nassau District Masonic Youth Bowling. What a fun weekend! On May 31st, the Nassau-Queens-Richmond and Suffolk Districts held their District Convention. Congratulations to the Junior Advisors, Gabrielle and Sapphire. You both worked so hard and put on a wonderful program filled with Fun In the Sun. To our girls: You all did a beautiful job on your parts. You always make us all very proud. Thank you to all the supporters of Truth, Meridian, Sunrise, and Star Triangles who came to the District Convention. On April 8th, the Organization of Triangles were well represented at Anchor-Astoria Lodge No.729 of College Point, NY. The Worshipful Master, Spiro Triantafilis extends his support and wishes the girls well on inspiring young girls of Queens. Our State Representative, Ally delivered a great presentation on Triangle and Adriana was awarded Camp Turk Sponsorship. On March 10th, Sunrise Triangle attended the Grand Matron's Official Visit to the Nassau-Queens District. The girls put on a degree and gave the Grand Patron a complete Italian style dinner for his food drive. The girls also sold flowers throughout the night. The girls also had the opportunity to support Grand Officers, Mrs. Melchert and Mrs. Butcher. |
